Solar Circumnavigation

This morning I stood on top of an RV and witnessed the sun rise over the horizon for the 15,695th time since I came into existence; granted I haven’t seen every one, but I’m confident they happened.

So I’ve been alive for:

1,356,048,090 seconds (and counting).
OR
22,600,800 minutes
OR
376,680 hours
OR
15,695 days
OR
2,236 weeks
OR
516 months
OR
43 years.

Looking at it that way, you can see why humans start using years to inform each other how many times we’ve made a journey around the sun.

Here’s to 43 more to come.
