That’s about how many miles we’ve got to get there, then another 300 to San Diego on Tuesday to catch up with some old friends before winding our way through LA to see others, with a scenic tour up the coast ending in the East Bay before heading to wine country.
Normally I’d be more prosaic, but I drove 580 miles today, making a couple hours worth of detours to deserted towns and random roadside attractions, so I’m beyond ready to sleep.
My closing thought for the day:
Since Arizona doesn’t recognize DST so they can have less sun/heat at the end of the day in Summer, why don’t they just totally commit and roll their clocks back two hours when we jump ours forward and have sunrise at 3a and sunset at 6p?
