Technology never fails to astound me.

I had a conversation with a friend on Saturday afternoon, which lead to an email sent early Sunday morning. By Monday afternoon, I had established a collaborative web site, a bi-coastal podcast, and started a blog. In the span of less than 48 hours, a simple idea transformed from mere words to reality.

Amazing.

So what was the inspiration? What spark made it happen?

Awareness.

Writers need other writers. No matter writing is often a solitary endeavor, we need feedback, the outside view, and a reminder we are not the only ones beating ourselves up inside.

I want to bring writers together. Not for commerce. Not for accolades. Not for recognition.

For community. For connection. For good.
